Sail Away
22.6.09

In response to constructive feedback, I have decided to post something of a commoner's touch. Otherwise, it seems that my entries always fall on deaf ears.

In adherence to others' blog, let me give you a terse outline of what I did today. Hope it can appease your insatiable appetite. =p

Went back to school for badminton game with colleagues, namely; the young ones. Thereafter, our lovely pupils came and joined us for the fun. YZ was trying her best to hit the shuttlecock(which she did fairly well), CG did exceptionally well for her consistent effort to pursue after every shot(kudos), WH can serve and volley without much effort(clap clap!) and SM could not be bothered for most of the game(haha).

Got teased(again!) by our mischievous bunch of teachers because of Nat. There is nothing going on between us. Sigh!

Then, we headed to LJS at JP for dinner. Chatted for about half an hour, until we saw the hints from ferocious glares that implied; we are suppose to give up our seats to others since we are done eating.

Entered EC house for a haircut unwillingly. Could not bear parting with my hair which I had tried keeping for approximately 3 months? The hairstylist just snipped it all off without even a second glance.

Following, I took my cousins out for dinner(again!) at Ichiban restaurant. Long wait. Emphasised on the importance of family ties and studies. Hope they learnt something. Cabbed home and I think it is enough said. =)

Life's ups and downs
18.6.09

I wanted to pen an expository on fairytales' endings. But I guess it's better if I gathered my thoughts and jot it down such that it will comprise of my quintessence. So I will leave that for my next post.

Life's brevity, fleeting joys and missed opportunities are often experienced by many despite of the different and unique roles each of us may be playing, i.e. teachers, students, directors, hawkers, etc.

What matters to you most? Some people treasure friendships, others cherish the time spent with their family, and a minority of people hanker after the incessant path to riches. In a nutshell, my evaluation turns out to be your own perception. Though rhetorical, it is an eternal verity.
Well, that said, go figure. =)
